Long boards
for slow water.

Ovelis is a fictional surfboard atelier shaping glassy single fins by hand.

Each imagined Ovelis board is drawn by hand, sanded in a small bay by the water and glassed clear before it ever meets the sea.

A small quiver.

Three imagined shapes, all single fins, each drawn for a different kind of slow water.

  • Lull

    A long, flat-rockered glider for knee-high mornings.

  • Tern

A narrower pin tail that turns a little sooner.

  • Hollow

A shorter, wider egg for weekends of mixed water.

One cobalt pinline.

The deck gets a seafoam resin panel, tinted by eye, and a single cobalt line laid around it with a steady hand. Nothing else goes on the board.
