Small glass, soft light.

Each object holds one light source, shaped by the glass around it.

A round glass wall light with a thin cyan ring glowing at its edge on a dark wall
HaloA wall light with one glass lens. The ring glows at its edge and the wall does the rest.
A low pebble-shaped glass table light glowing violet on dark stone
PebbleA table light you lift to wake and set down to dim.
Smoked-glass and dark aluminium prototypes lined up on a workbench beside a pencil sketch and calipers

Drawn at the bench, tested in the dark.

Each object starts as a pencil sketch and a ring of glass, then lives on a shelf for a few evenings before anything is decided.

One light, one ring
A single light source, shaped by glass instead of hidden behind plastic.
No screens
Controls are a turn, a touch or a lift. Nothing to scroll.
Made to dim
Light fades slowly in the evening and comes up gently in the morning.

Fewer things, better lit.

Ostrel is a fictional studio with a simple idea: make a few calm objects that light a room well, then get out of the way.
