Run the city after dark.

Velzo is an imagined night run club. Small groups, lit routes and one easy pace after the streets go quiet.

Long exposure of a wet riverside path at night, with lime and cyan light trails left by runners passing under the street lamps

The streets go quiet. We head out.

Every imagined Velzo run starts at ten, holds one easy pace for the whole group and finishes where it began. A clip-on light each, and the city to ourselves.

Three loops, one city.

All three leave from the same corner and come back to it. Pick the one that suits the night.

  • 6 km

    Overpass loop

Flat and steady under the bridge lights. A good first night.

  • 10 km

    River ten

Out along the water, back past the shuttered markets.

  • 16 km

    Long dark

For the regulars. One water stop, then the quiet streets home.

Be seen, then go.

An imagined club kit, packed light for a cold loop.

See the routes
Black running shoes with lime laces, a reflective vest, a glowing clip-on light, a stopwatch and a hand-drawn route card on wet asphalt
Lit from behind
Every runner clips on one small lime light before the first stride.
Bright where it counts
Reflective piping on the vest and laces, so a car sees you from the corner.
Carry the card
Each loop is drawn on a paper card. No app and no signal needed.
Stay together
Groups hold the pace of the slowest runner and regroup at every bridge.
